Playing Basic Guitar
I have been playing guitar for over 35 years, I am self-taught and play by ear. The best way to learn is to practice, that is whenever you see a guitar just doing nothing pick it up and get used to the way it feels and sounds. Go online to find lyric and chord websites and play along to your favourite songs. There are plenty of websites although some are far to complicated for the beginner. Have a look at Mega Chords.com they seem to have a big selection of artists and if you hover over the chords a small picture of the chord shape will appear.
