Tip for leaders: No trust equals no team.

Trust works both ways trust the leader and trust the team, both must be earned not demanded.

Trust can be lost in an instant, so take care of your relationships and keep your character with integrity.

  1. Hi Paul, true, true. I think ‘lead by example’ would be good to add to the mix as this shows the capability of a leader and thus that we can trust them or not. Or simply: trust is built by leading through trust enhancing action, not words.

    • Thanks Miriam, I agree. Behaviour of leaders needs to reflect the values of the organisation. People will follow modelled behaviour more willingly and with greater ease than by following a manual or edict.
